City Hanok Architecture in South Korea

A renewal of old and traditional Korean houses is leading to  new sight of Korean traditional architecture. 

In modern Korean lifestyle Aparment housing is the most desirable way of living for most Koreans. 

In the last decades the old lifestyle as in Hanok, the name of Korean traditional housing architecture, was seen as dirty, poor and old-fashioned. 

As for Hanok architecture there is an interesting part of city Hanok architecture. 

City hanok buildings were established between 1930 and 1960. Usually Hanok builidings have more space and ground, but the city Hanoks were built for city needs and they were built by professional developers to sell them profitably. 

So they created a standart version of a city Hanok house. Most of them are shaped in 

square and surrounding
